Delivery Information

All wine bought and sold through LANGTONS is held securely in our state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled National Warehouse, just outside of Melbourne, ensuring fast and efficient shipping to your nominated address Australia-wide.

All orders are subject to signature on delivery, you will also be required to show your ID to the driver. If you select ''you can leave my order unattended'' at the checkout. you authorise LANGTONS delivery provider to leave the package(s) at the shipping address without obtaining a signature.

All orders placed are subject to a flat shipping fee as outlined below:

All items, including shipping, must be paid for in full before dispatch. We strive to process and dispatch your order from our warehouse within two business days. However, during busier periods, this timeframe may be extended.

The estimated delivery timeframe is 2-10 business days from dispatch, Australia-wide.

Please note below the cut-off dates for metro and regional deliveries during the festive season to ensure timely arrival.

New ways to ship, save and store your auction items

1. Auto shipping

Our Auto Ship function takes the hassle out of logistics for you by processing your auction winnings the next business day after the auction closes, in preparation for dispatch. To set your Auto Shipping preference, simply login to LANGTONS, go to your Dashboard, click Manage Preferences and open the Auctions & Deliveries pane to toggle 'Automatically ship my auction items' on or off.

2. Consolidate and save 

We will automatically ship all of your auction winnings every 21 days with a single charge per delivery. The 21 day cycle commences at the time of your first auction purchase, additional purchases made within 21 days from the first purchase will be consolidated into the shipment, making this a viable shipping option for frequent auction clients. Before a consolidated shipment is dispatched, you will be notified via email, allowing you to make any necessary adjustments. If you can't wait 21 days, you can simply log in and ship your items at any time. To disable Consolidated Shipping, please contact our Customer Experience Team.

3. Store your winnings

You can store your winnings in our secure, temperature-controlled wine storage facility. If your cellar is full or you're out of the country, we can store your wine at the price of $0.40 per bottle per month. Items that have not been shipped will be charged the monthly storage fee on the 21st of each month. For every month of storage, you will receive an invoice, and your default credit card will be charged. Simply login to your account and ship your auction items if you do not wish to use our storage service.

 

VIC Delivery - Victorian liquor laws

In Victoria, certain liquor laws apply to the supply of liquor where an order is placed online.

Compliance with our legal obligations is very important to us and integral to the way we do business.

What these laws mean is that, when you order alcohol from us for delivery in Victoria, we will be instructing our delivery drivers that they must check that:

● the alcohol is delivered to the person that made the order;
● the person that made the order is present when the order is delivered; and
● the person that placed the order is 18 or over, with reference to valid identification (proof of age document).

Pick Up

You can choose to pick up your order from participating Dan Murphy’s stores, with our Click & Collect service. Our standard delivery time frames and charges apply. Please see our FAQ Page for more information.

Track and Trace

Once your order has dispatched, access delivery information by opening the "Orders" section in your account and selecting "Track and Order".

Delivery Guarantee

LANGTONS Delivery Guarantee is an optional charge that covers the cost of breakages, damage and lost stock during transit. It is calculated at 1.5% of the sale value.
LANGTONS Delivery Guarantee does not cover items that have been requested to be left on the delivery premises without a signature, if the incorrect address and delivery information is provided or if LANGTONS has delivered your items in accordance to your delivery instructions.

Warm Weather Shipping Service

Please click Warm Weather Shipping for the latest Summer Shipping updates. During periods of hot weather, LANGTONS will use its discretion to hold shipments and will otherwise only do so when you have expressly requested us to hold shipping of your items. While every effort will be made to ensure prompt delivery without compromising the condition of your item, LANGTONS does not cover or accept any responsibility for heat damage as a result of shipping.

International Shipping
