Humpty’s Ultimate Cellar: One cause, one lot, 300 bottles

Humpty’s Ultimate Cellar: One cause, one lot, 300 bottles

Imagine having a bottle of wine (or two) at the ready every time a dinner party, an impromptu visitor, or an empty glass called for it. This year, Langton’s is proud to partner with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation to auction off ‘Humpty’s Ultimate Cellar’. Bid now

One lot, 300 Australian bottles, all scoring 94+ points in the James Halliday Wine Companion, ready for a fierce battle of the bids. 100% of proceeds will go towards the tireless work of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation to purchase life-saving medical equipment specifically requested by more than 400 children's hospitals and health services across Australia.

This amazing instant cellar of 300 bottles brings together the ‘best of the best’ that Australian wineries can offer.

‘This amazing instant cellar of 300 bottles brings together the ‘best of the best’ that Australian wineries can offer,’ says James Halliday of Humpty’s Ultimate Auction. Indeed, all bottles in this incredible offering have been donated directly from the cellar doors of Australia’s biggest wine names.

Running the complete gamut of styles, the winner’s wine options will be exhaustive no matter the occasion, with the added guarantee of Halliday’s hard-fought seal of approval. ‘You could plan to have a dinner for eight people once a fortnight over the next year and a half without running out of wine.’

There are big names (the likes of Henschke and Clonakilla), big point scores (Flowstone’s Queen of the Earth Chardonnay at 98 points deserves an honourable mention), and big anticipation building as this impressively curated collection prepares to go under the hammer. Put simply, these are the wines that we love to drink. Here, quality and quantity are not strangers.

Humpty Charity

For more than 30 years, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation has fundraised to donate life-saving medical equipment to Australian children’s hospitals and health services. Since 2007, Humpty has partnered with James Halliday AM to host an annual auction of the Halliday Wine Companion’s top-scoring wines at one of its annual fundraising events and through these donations of wine has raised more than $3.3 million.

In a first, this year’s auction is an online affair, hosted by Langton’s. Join us from 14 June to bid on this eye-watering portfolio, as we work to support the tireless efforts of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and make a difference to babies and children in hospitals and health services across Australia.

If you would like to support the work of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation either by donating a tax deductible piece of medical equipment or by making a tax deductible donation, please visit the website to learn more or Bid now.
