Podere Il Carnasciale Il
Only 25 Available
Discover one of the world's most collectible and idiosyncratic wines. Il Caberlot is only available in 1.5L magnum format. When you open one for your guests, it is likely that they will never have tasted this wine before.
Displaying characteristics of Cabernet and Merlot—hence the name— it is a wine unique to Podere Il Carnasciale and shows as perfumed, textural and elegant. It's like taking a tasting tour of the great regions of Bordeaux. This is a bucket list wine you’ll want to tick off quite a few times.
'With its cult status and tiny production...it is a wine many people have heard of but few have actually tasted.' - Antonio Galloni
Italian Winter Warmers
As summer turns to winter, head north on your Italian gastronomic journey. Our portfolio of Italian reds are made for matching with those heartier dishes you have been waiting out the warmer months to start making again. Thinking of Bistecca alla Fiorentina and pasta ragu? Then you should be lining up a selection of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Corvina for your table.
2014 Hunter Valley Shiraz
Lindeman's has called last drinks on its famous Hunter Valley Shiraz series. We certainly touched a nerve when we offered the last ever vintage of the famous Lindeman's Hunter Valley Shiraz series just eight weeks ago. Nostalgia may have prompted the initial response, but it's the quality of the wines that’s kept re-orders flowing.
Wines of the Week
The week we added a few new wines to our portfolio. The latest vintage of the 2017 Kennedy GSM as well as the 2017 Zephyrus from Sons of Eden and we took a first look at the 2016 vintages of Ten Minutes by Tractor Estate Pinot and Chardonnay. We also took a peek at The Chardonnay 2018 from winemaker Duane Coates who is showing the influence of his recent vintages in Burgundy.
This was a very special week at Langton's. We are proud to have hosted Bordeaux En Primeur 2018 tasting events in Sydney and Melbourne. In this Australian first, we worked with Châteaux and negociants to exclusively secure wines from the 2018 vintage. Langton's customers tasted twelve wines from across Bordeaux and compared the recently landed 2015 against the 2018s due for arrival in 2021
