From Mezzane di Sotto in the Monti Garbi district of Valpolicella, this rose is made from 100% Rondinella. The fruit is hand destemmed to retain whole berries for a short carbonic maceration. Fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature and kept on lightly stirred lees for a month or so. This is a vibrant, aromatic wine a wild strawberry and floral personality. Mouthfilling and flavoursome, it finishes with beautiful balance and refreshing, succulent acidity. A great match with risotto, and all white meat, fish and shellfish dishes.
