SEPPELT
From its humble beginnings in 1851, when Joseph Seppelt established Seppeltsfield in the Barossa, Seppelt has been at the forefront of Australian winemaking including pioneering Australia’s first sparkling wine. Today Seppelt is part of the Treasury Wine Estates portfolio and is known for producing a range of quality wines from highly regarded vineyard sites in Victoria. Sepplet draws fruit from vineyards situated in the cool Grampians, the Henty Hinterland, Heathcote and Bendigo. Each region offers distinctive regional typicity, forming backbone of the Seppelt’s portfolio. Best known for iconic wines including St Peters Shiraz and Drumborg Riesling, Seppelt also produces a range of sparkling white and Shiraz wines including the Show Sparkling Limited Release Shiraz made only in exceptional years.
