Hardy’s is a large wine producer with extensive vineyard resources and a long and distinguished history of winemaking in South Australia. Founded in 1853 by winemaking pioneer Thomas Hardy, the company has grown considerably in size and stature over the years gaining a solid reputation primarily for commercial wines. A complicated series of corporate take-overs and acquisitions has seen Hardy’s become part of the huge Accolade Wines group. The wine brand celebrated its 160th Anniversary in 2013, and fifth generation Hardy family member Bill Hardy remains an integral part of the business. Hardy’s flagship Eileen Hardy Shiraz reflects Hardy’s enduring and strong house winemaking ethos and exceptional vineyard resources.
