Cheesemaker turned winemaker hailing from the Loire, Jérôme Galeyrand moved to Burgundy to take up winemaking studies. Balanced, precise, refined and elegant, Bourgogne Aligoté Le Poirossot derives from a hillside site in Rully from granite laden soils. Bright yellow with a light touch of green in colour this is a medium to full-bodied wine. Enjoy crystalline and fruity notes, with a fine persistence, concluding with a chalky finish. As with all Jérôme Galeyrand, this is certified organic and made with adherence to biodynamic principles.
Offering up aromas of ripe pears, beeswax, yellow apples and petrol, the 2019 Bourgogne Aligoté Le Poirossot is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and incisive, concluding with a chalky finish. This derives from a hillside site in Rully.

From Bissey-sous-Cruchaud (Côte Chalonnaise) on granite soil. Bright yellow with a light touch of green. Less flesh and more steel than the Bouzeron with fine persistence behind. Crystalline notes and white fruit, less exuberant.
