Thörle is a leading producer in Germany’s Rheinhessen. The first nose of the Hochheimer Hölle Riesling Kabinett shows whirls of peach, nectarines and pears. The hints of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing followed by yet more fruity flavours. The texture is wonderfully dense yet due to its concise fruit acidity finishes exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate.
Lovely white-peach, nectarine and orange-blossom nose with a whiff of yeasty funk that only makes this more energetic and exciting. Remarkably Mosel-like for the generally much warmer Rheinhessen region. Racy acidity and a long crystalline finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
