Barossa Wine Auction
Nothing beats the thrill and the excitement of a live auction. A room full of collectors in pursuit of the rarest and most desirable vinous treasures. In celebration of a decade of partnership with the Barossa wine community, LANGTONS are proud to invite you to the first of two 2025 Live Barossa Wine Auctions. The first Auction will be held this April in the Old Redemption Cellar at Peter Lehmann Wines in Tanunda. A portion of the proceeds of the auction are directed to the important work of The Barossa Australia Well-Being Fund, assisting the Barossa wine community to engage in meaningful conversations and provide active support for people affected by poor mental health.
The Auction
At the 2025 edition in Barossa, you’ll have the chance to bid on rarely seen wines direct from the cellars of the Barossa’s finest. From an imperial of Penfolds Limited Bin release to verticals from Henschke, Rockford and many, many more. The auction is now live online at LANGTONS and bidding has already begun! Bidding online will close online at 9am AEDT April 4 and move into the room at midday, where the final bidding will take place under direction from the auctioneer.
Event Overview
LANGTONS are proud to invite you to the first of two 2025 Live Barossa Wine Auctions in the Old Redemption Cellar at Peter Lehmann Wines in Tanunda on the 4th of April. The Barossa Wine Auctions have been an integral part of the Barossa Vintage Festival since 1965, making it one of the most historic and distinguished events in Australian fine wine. From midday, enjoy Eden Valley Riesling and oysters, followed by a three-course lunch paired with exceptional Barossan wines.
The Cause
The Barossa Wine Auction has been an integral part of the Barossa Vintage Festival since 1965. In 2015, the Barossa wine community embarked on an exciting evolution of this event, partnering with LANGTONS. This move has expanded the Barossa offer to wine collectors the world over and created a truly hallmark wine event in the Southern Hemisphere.
