Booking a drop off

We can book you in to drop off up to 6 x boxes (no more than 12 bottles per box) to any of the participating Dan Murphy's listed below.

This service is offered free of charge and may result in longer delays to the selling process compared to other transport methods. The use of this service requires adherence to the following conditions. Failure to meet the conditions below may result in your consignment being rejected by the store team.

 

Conditions

  • 48hr notice required for all bookings, to allow time for us to notify the store.
  • All boxes to be packed securely and labelled as per the packing checklist supplied. Consignment label will be attached by the store team at a later date.
  • Respect must be shown to all store team members at the time of drop off.
    Take your box(es) to the front of the store and speak to a team member for further instructions.

At the store

  • The store team member will take your boxes and fill in a LANGTONS receipt book
  • You will receive a copy of the receipt for your records
  • The team will then update LANGTONS to advise the stock has been received.
  • Once we have an appropriate number of vendor boxes at the store, we will organise for the transportation of stock from the store to our warehouse in Hoppers Crossing. This is typically organised every 2-3 weeks.
  • You will be notified once the stock arrives.

Please allow 48 hours from sending the email to arranging the time you wish to drop as we need time to talk to the store.
Any changes in quantity of box(es) or the list of items being submitted must be reported to LANGTONS ASAP to ensure you're covered for any breakage or loss.
