The Tenuta Nuova is the result of the di Neri family’s desire to create a Brunello that balances power and approachability with an ability to age. Tenuta Nuova means ‘new property’ – a place where Sangiovese hadn’t been grown before. This enterprise came about after a considered scientific study of the land and microclimates best suited to growing the Sangiovese in the right way to produce the type of Brunello that di Neri family envisaged.

CASANOVA DI NERI
Casanova di Neri is a prestigious wine producer from the Montalcino area of Tuscany. Established by Giovanni Neri in 1971, it still remains a family business managed now by son Giacomo. The family have vineyard holdings of 48 ha of vineyards throughout the best areas of Montalcino divided among four separate estates -- “Pietradonice” in Castelnuovo dell’ Abate, the “Cetine” in S. Angelo in Colle, the “Cerretalto” and the “Fiesole” near the new underground modern cellar, each with their own characters and expression. The Estate produces powerful and luxuriant Brunellos made in elegant modern styles. Amongst its most celebrated are the Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova and Brunello di Montalcino Cerretalto and the “Super-Tuscan” Pietradonice a Cabernet Sangiovese Blend.
