Dominus Estate, established in 1983, stands as one of Napa Valley's premier wineries. Founded by renowned Bordeaux winemaker Christian Moueix, Dominus has garnered a deserved reputation for crafting some of California's finest red wines. These exceptional Bordeaux-style blends embody a unique fusion of French winemaking expertise and California terroir. The estate's 44-hectare Napanook vineyard, located in Yountville, boasts a rich history dating back to the mid-19th century. The vineyard's volcanic soil and excellent drainage provide ideal conditions for cultivating Bordeaux varietals, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon (87%), complemented by Petit Verdot (8%) and Cabernet Franc (5%).
