Pristine fruit, delicately handled, and expertly crafted into an undeniable and memorable wine. The 2022 Isabel Estate Marlborough Chardonnay (RRP $30) is a smart order. This 1st Classified wine in a 98-point vintage flirts with perfection, simply one of the greatest Australian chardonnays released. Next up we head to the heart of Meursault with a superb Domaine Michelot from 2021 (RRP $180), a wine that captures the essence of this renowned Burgundian appellation. Finally we journey to the beautiful vinous paradise that is the Sonoma Coast. Hartford Wines Hartford Court Stone Cote Vineyard Chardonnay 2019 (RRP $165). This prized vineyard sits upon an ancient riverbed at the southern end of the Sonoma Coast AVA, the stressed vines yield very small clusters with intense varietal flavours.
