This May, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon, we’ve joined forces with Peter Gago, and Penfolds, to bring you a very special experience. The dinner, hosted by Gago, will feature ten wines, including a six-vintage vertical of Bin 707, paired with a luxurious five-course menu. There are only 24 seats available.

Tickets are $999 per person, with the full ticket price eligible for refund if $1,500, or more, is spent on Penfolds wines on the night of the event.* Theoretically, you could enjoy this unbelievable experience, plus fill your cellar with $1,500 of Penfolds wines, for as little as $501. About your host

 

Your host for the evening is, Penfolds Chief Winemaker, Peter Gago.

 

The former chemistry and mathematics teacher, and Dux of his Bachelor of Applied Science (Oenology) class at Roseworthy College, joined Penfolds in 1989, and became their fourth-ever Chief Winemaker in 2002. Gago’s conscientious approach, and visionary style, have helped Penfolds transcend fine wine, and ascend to a league of their own. Gago has received numerous accolades in recognition of his work, these include becoming South Australia’s Great Wine Capitals Global Ambassador, an appointment as a Companion of The Order of Australia (AC), and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of South Australia.
