Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon

Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon

Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon pays homage to its historic roots along Rifle Range Road, an iconic path winding through the Barossa Valley. Once home to a rifle range, this road now frames the valley's heart, leading up to Kaiser Stuhl National Park. The old range is gone, but the vineyards remain, supplying the grapes for this wine since Rockford's inception. It embodies the essence of varietal and regional characteristics, guided by Rockford's timeless approach. Aged for two years in large, seasoned oak vats and hogsheads, it showcases rich, soft, and full-bodied flavours of plum, currant and chocolate, underlain by cabernet’s clear voice of dried sage and verdant garden herb hints. Among Barossa's finest cabernet sauvignon grapes, the Rifle Range is a classic from cult winery Rockford.
