Barossa Australia Fine Wine Auction at Crown Sydney
Nothing beats the thrill of a live auction. Join a room full of collectors in pursuit of the rarest and most desirable vinous treasures. In celebration of a decade of partnership with the Barossa wine community, LANGTONS are proud to invite you to the second of two 2025 Live Barossa Wine Auctions, which will take place in Crown's Pearl Ballroom on Tuesday, 10 June. A portion of the proceeds of the auction will be directed to the important work of The Barossa Australia Well-Being Fund, assisting the Barossa wine community to engage in meaningful conversations and provide active support for people affected by poor mental health.
Event Overview
The event of the year is on Tuesday, 10 June 2025, in Sydney. We are proud to partner again with Barossa Australia for an evening of bidding excitement at Crown Sydney, Barangaroo. This year, we are offering 35 unique lots with an estimated total hammer value of $130,000. Expect wines and vinous experiences from Penfolds, Henschke, Rockford, Chris Ringland, Standish, Sami-Odi and more. Guests will enjoy Champagne and Canapes upon arrival and a three course meal with matching wines.
The Auction
Attendees will have the chance to bid on rarely seen wines direct from the cellars of the Barossa’s finest. Standout lots from iconic Barossan wineries include an Imperial of Penfolds Bin 170 Block 3C Kalimna Shiraz, a full vertical set of Sami-Odi 'Hoffmann Dallwitz' Syrah, an Imperial of Basket Pressed Shiraz and many, many more. Online bidding will be available from May 27 and close at 12 pm June 10 and move to the room where the final bidding will take place under the direction of the auctioneer. The Cause
The Barossa Wine Auction has been an integral part of the Barossa Vintage Festival since 1965. In 2015, the Barossa wine community embarked on an exciting evolution of this event, partnering with LANGTONS. This move has expanded the Barossa offer to wine collectors the world over and created a truly hallmark wine event in the Southern Hemisphere.
