Warm Weather Shipping
Update your Shipping for Summer
We are giving you more control over how your orders are delivered in warm weather. You can now set your account to automatically hold your orders at our warehouse if the temperature in the delivery area is forecast to be more than 29°C.
Note: Your default setting is to dispatch orders as soon as possible, regardless of the weather.
How to update your shipping
You can update your default setting by logging in and navigating to:
- My Account > Dashboard
- Select 'Manage Preferences'
- Select 'Auctions & Deliveries'
- Choose 'Set my shipping defeault to hold orders at the warehouse if warm weather is forecast in the delivery area'
- Click 'Save'.
You'll also have the chance to “hold” or “not hold” for warm weather at checkout each time you order online or ship your auction winnings. If you order with a Private Client Manager, simply let them know what your preference is.
We've made this addition to our delivery service to ensure we get your wine to you as quickly as possible while giving you the choice to delay in the event of warm weather if delivery speed isn't a priority.
If your order is held for forecast warm weather, you can contact us at any time if you'd like to manually release it as soon as possible, regardless of temperature. Estimated delivery timeframes remain 2-10 business days, Australia-wide.
Please note: due to the recent freight train derailment, shipping to Western Australia can take up to 15 working days.
