About this wine
DOMAINE DE LA ROMANEE-CONTI, Richebourg
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti's Richebourg is renowned for its power, complexity, and exceptional aging potential. Produced from a 3.51-hectare plot in the Richebourg vineyard, it yields approximately 12,000 bottles annually from two distinct parcels: Les Véroilles and Les Richebourgs. This Pinot Noir is characterised by its muscular profile, higher tannins and acidity compared to other DRC wines, and concentrated flavours derived from its unique terroir. The cooler Les Véroilles parcel contributes acidity, while the warmer Les Richebourgs adds ripeness and concentration. Richebourg often requires 20 to 25 years of cellaring to reach maturity, with the potential to develop for decades while retaining its youthful energy.
