Lafalise Froissart is nestled in the heart of the esteemed Vezernay Grand Cru. This sixth-generation family winery makes expressive, terroir driven Champagnes. The 276 Cuvée Les Longues Raies is one of their small but perfectly formed collection. With the winery nestled deep in Pinot Noir country, it is no surprise that this is a Pinot-driven wine, composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay.
With great respect for the land (Lafalise Froissart is certified organic and biodynamic), 276 is crafted with typical care and precision by winemaker Paul Froissart. Grapes are manually harvested, and naturally fermented in barrel. Elevage on lies for six to eight months, before resting in the Lafalise Froissart caves for at least 24 months.
Lemon yellow in hue, 276 is a fresh, energetic and mineral-driven Champagne. Cream, and citrus abound, with a lick of marine salinity and a lingering finish.
