The 2019 Jaluka Chardonnay from Seppelt comprises some parcels from Seppelt's prized Drumborg Vineyard, established in 1964. Excluding cool-climate class, the Jaluka (named after Victoria's Jaluka Forest) shows white peach and citrus fruit with a note of well-judged oak. This scores high on drinkability, which is lucky as there are ten bottles in this case.

The fruit for this Domaine Michelot Bourgogne Blanc is sourced from parcels situated exclusively within the Meursault commune. The grapes are manually harvested before being moved to the winery in specially designed stainless steel bins. The grapes are then lightly crushed then pressed, light, cold racked for 6 to 12 hours before the juice goes into casks for fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then matured in oak barrels (15% new) for 10 to 12 months.
