Tardieu-Laurent Nobles Origines, Cotes-du-Rhone
Tardieu-Laurent’s Mobles Origines Côtes-du-Rhône is a smart Grenache Syrah Mouvedre blend (70I %, 20%, 10%) that seeks to capture the strengths of several sandy crus in one bottle. It is a unique demonstration of terroir.
Organically produced, it has spent 10 months in barrels aged one vintage, followed by a further 10 in barrels aged two vintages. A third of the fruit is whole bunch. Deep purple and ripe with red and black fruits, a complexity of pepper, anise, herbs, and earth escape the glass. Notably, there is an impressive freshness.
