Expert Review
Wine Companion
As with all the '09 Clarendon wines, the yield was down by 40% on average. Deep, dense colour, the complex bouquet with the 100% new French oak seamlessly woven through the range of black fruits; the palate full-bodied with all of the structure expected of cabernet sauvignon, the blackcurrant fruit flavours supported by pronounced tannins that are not the least dry; 620 dozen made. Drink by 2040.
