Behold four of our shores finest, three bottles each from esteemed producers and pre-eminent regions. First we start our tasting tour in Victoria’s breathtaking Yarra Valley with Oakridge’s superb 2023 iteration of a renowned cuvée. Then, we take a mini sojourn to Petaluma in the scenic Adelaide Hills to delight in the full-flavoured, richly textured Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay. Further west we venture, for a stellar expression from Larry Cherubino, the storied Caves Road Chardonnay. Last, but by no means least, we find ourselves in idyllic Tasmania, where Josef Chromy’s lauded cool-climate chardonnay rounds out the pack.
