About this wine
With its pure blackberry, sage and black pepper aromas, underlying savoury complexity and fine lacy tannins Henschke Mount Edelstone is one of Australia’s great single vineyard wines. The wine is vinified in "headed-down" open fermenters and completes fermentation in a combination of new and seasoned French and American hogsheads. A further20 to 22 months maturation in the same oak takes place prior to blending and bottling. Delicious upon release, Mount Edelstone typically reaches optimum maturity after five to 15 years.

Henschke Keyneton
One of the great family wine dynasties, the Henschkes are custodians of some of Australia’s greatest single vineyards. Fifth generation, Stephen and his wife Prue have built upon the experience of previous generations, reinvigorating the vineyard and winery.
