ABOUT THE WINERY
Petaluma
Established by Brian Croser in the late 1970's, Petaluma captured the imagination of the wine world and forged a path towards defining sub-regionality in Australia. Croser pioneered the idea of distinguished vineyard site in Australia, a variation of the French concept of terroir. Today with winemaker Andrew Hardy at the helm, Petaluma produces an extensive range of quality wines from selected vineyard sites across the sub-regions of South Australia that capture the expression of both the variety and the individual site. Croser is Petaluma’s premium sparkling wine range, comprising a Non Vintage (NV), a Rosé, a Vintage and a Late Disgorged style. All Croser sparkling wines are traditional method styles employing the classic varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
