Tony Bish has gained a reputation for his mastery in crafting chardonnay wines. He is known to focus on showcasing the unique expressions of this varietal, utilising both traditional and innovative winemaking techniques to bring out the best characteristics of the grapes. The Skeetfield Vineyard is old vine dry-farmed Mendoza-clone chardonnay vines. The fruit is hand-picked and whole bunch pressed with minimal settling. This wine was 100% barrel fermented and matured, with 60% new Taransaud French oak. The resulting Skeetfield chardonnay has exceptional power and grace, and will greatly reward the patient.
