Two Hands is a touchstone of exemplary shiraz from across South Australia’s best regions and sites.The Single Vineyard Series is a luxury selection that co-founder Michael Twelftree says capture the ‘X-factor’ of some of the country’s most esteemed vineyards. Yacca Block Shiraz hails from a site perched atop Menglers Hill, with vines growing in a mixture of quartz and limestone. Elevation allows for leisurely ripening of the fruit.
Deep, dark, black in the glass, aromas of cedar, smoke, violets, plums, and spice emerge. A bold and expressive wine, the profundity of fruit is intense. Deep blackcurrant and unctuous forest fruits explode on the palate. Superbly structured, tannic length ensures this is a long and pleasurable ride.
